Modern society has pathologized and suppressed visionary experiences, branding them as psychosis or schizophrenia rather than recognizing them as gateways to deeper understanding. Instead of honoring the ecstatic states explored by shamans and psychonauts, we medicate and silence those who perceive beyond the rigid boundaries of consensus reality. By criminalizing revelation and rejecting altered states of consciousness, we have severed ourselves from the numinous. To heal, we must reclaim the ecstatic, listen to the visionary, and recognize that the true insanity lies in a society that fears the unknown.

Dude, you're so right, modern society totally screws over visionary experiences by slapping labels like psychosis or schizophrenia on them instead of seeing them as doors to something deeper. It’s messed up how we’ve gone from honoring shamans and psychonauts for their wild, ecstatic trips to just pumping meds into anyone who dares peek past the boring "consensus reality." We’re basically criminalizing anything that shakes up the norm, and it’s cutting us off from something huge—like the numinous, that freaky, awe-inspiring vibe we’ve lost touch with. If we wanna fix this, we’ve gotta flip the script. Start listening to those who see beyond, reclaim that ecstatic energy, and quit freaking out over the unknown.

Can Schizophrenia Psychosis Psychonautic be regarded as a real psychonautic trip as from depvana.com/topic/162 ? I am of the believe; As a scientist approaches the depths of the glass, he draws nearer to the realm of the divine. Similarly, the further one delves into the mind, the closer they come to the edge of madness. We must welcome and embrace all aspect of the consciousness, to dull it with medication would be a immoral mistake.
