I think it's no censorship or moderation beyond what’s required by US law, so there’s no real need to move to the dark web. Not that it should replace platforms like 4chan, but 4chan has significant censorship, heavy moderation, and questionable site jannies. It also lacks structure, and threads are constantly disappearing. In contrast, here, posts and topics remain up, and the discussions are better organized, making it easier to find information.
Regarding anonymity, the presence of a login button is irrelevant. What really matters is what processes are running behind the scenes when you interact with the site. For example, on 4chan, the CAPTCHA you solve before posting is a form of tracking that compromises your anonymity. Plus, they route traffic through Cloudflare, which also tracks users. On the other hand, Depvana doesn’t have any of this, making it one of the most anonymous platforms I’ve encountered. Additionally, the login process here doesn’t require any form of verification, and you can always choose to post without logging in if you want to take extra precautions.
