The Bigfoot seen in the Patterson gimli film was actually a 3 ft tall midget with hair glued to it which would explain the disproportionism of the limbs and how the lens on the receipt for the camera they rented would actually put the big foot in question at 3 feet tall based upon the distance away it allegedly was

Slenderman. Right. Appeals to a schizophrenic child not the normative. The planet's demons are pedophiles, homo/transexuals, killers and violence makers. Find God in Christ. Cleanse your mind of perversion and chaos.

Definitely interesting. What is the current consensus on the matter. Have anybody been able to come up with serious criticism of the theory?

Not accurately - there is only a constraint on distance due to the inverse square law.
If we were listening when the signal e.g. started, then we could look at the delay in arrival of signals from different frequencies to estimate how much dust they passed through.
Wow! was narrowband so the variation in delay would be small, and we did not catch the start or end.
The signal was slightly blue shifted, meaning (assuming accurately transmitted at 1420 MHz) the transmitter was moving towards us (or us towards it).

If anything, we should expect an alien signal to come from nearby - an advanced civilization could put relay stations around every star in the galaxy in 200 million years.
For example, you would expect a signal from China to come from nearby (your local cell tower) - it's much cheaper to transmit weak signals over short distances.

Is it possible to estimate how for away the signal originated?

It's extremely unlikely to have been an error.
Big Ear (the scope used) was listening for similar signals from 1973-1995 and never produced similar output.
An error would have had to:
1. occur only once (e.g. due to a bit flip)
2. affect only the 10 kHz band just above the hydrogen line
3. persist for 72 seconds
4. produce a continuous signal with a gaussian shape
5. return to normal function
Recent attempts to explain Wow! have suggested there was a radio source in either origin region.
For example, it was suggested a previously unknown comet was there at the time, but that was debunked.
Picrel is a plot of the signal - notice how it's not just a stray value.
As for random noise, Big Ear could listen for trillions of years and never expect noise like this.

If it was only observed once. Could it be a measurement error?

The Wow! signal was probably aliens, and TPTB know it.
1. the signal peaked at 30-31 standard deviations above background noise
2. the signal was continuous for a 72 second period with a gaussian shape
3. the signal was narrowband with a bandwidth of 10 kHz or less
4. the signal started or stopped in 3 minutes
5. the signal was at 1420 MHz
6. there are no known radio sources in the 2 possible origin regions
In summary, it was a powerful continuous narrowband transient signal at the hydrogen line with no known source.
The continuous gaussian shape (as the scope centered on the source) rules out terrestrial sources or errors.
The hydrogen line has been suggested as a Schelling point for radio SETI since 1959; the frequency is naturally quiet and produced by Hydrogen atoms (the most abundant element).
1420 MHz is an internationally protected frequency and is heavily surveilled, no spy satellite would use it.

So where's the conspiracy? In SETI it's agreed (rightly or wrongly) that a signal needs to repeat to be taken seriously, yet there has been no funding for redetection attempts.
In fact NASA shuts down all SETI proposals except biosignature and recently technosignature searches.
In the last 47 years there have only been 184 hours spent listening for a repeat, meanwhile UFO/UAP bullshit gets all the focus.

Super powers are real. Earth is bigger than we are told, most paranormal creatures like skinwalkers, slendermen, came from the other continents, there are more than 7 continents.

Most famous TV shows, are soft disclosures. Witcher/GameOfThrones/HunterXHunter:

Visualization Mastery (visual, auditory, tactile, smell, taste) seems to be one of the core aspects, to train etheric body. Most people arbitrarily put limits on the scope of these powers. They believe in energy work/chaos magick, for healing but no book talks about using it offensively.

Guns are still powerful, but most of the elites are hunters. They don't attack head on, they act behind the scenes, targetting critical points.
